Use a dog-friendly toothbrush and enzymatic toothpaste (never use human toothpaste, as it can upset your dog’s stomach). Aim to brush your dog’s teeth daily or at least a few times a week.

Puppies are curious little adventurers who love to explore their new environment. That means anything in your home that can be chewed, knocked over, or eaten should be moved to a safe space. Common puppy-proofing tasks include: 

• Securing wires and cords: Puppies love to chew on electrical cords. Use cord protectors or hide them out of reach. 

• Removing hazardous items: Small objects, trash, or harmful chemicals should be put away where your puppy can’t get to them. The use of trash cans with lids is very helpful.
